🗑️ Delete Your Account & Data
We respect your privacy and your right to delete your data. This page explains how to permanently delete your Ground Rounds account and all associated data.
Option 1: Delete In-App (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is through the app:
- Open the Ground Rounds app
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to Privacy & Data
- Click "Delete My Account & Data"
- Type DELETE to confirm

Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app, you can email us to request account deletion:
We will process your request within 7 business days.
⚠️ Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone!
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile (name, email, photo)
- All check-ins and reviews
- All uploaded photos
- All earned badges and achievements
- Friend connections and activity history
- Your Firebase authentication account
Data Retention
After deletion:
- Most data is deleted immediately
- Backup copies may be retained for up to 30 days for recovery purposes
- Anonymized analytics data may be retained for legal compliance
- Crash logs are automatically deleted after 90 days
