How do I check in at a coffee shop?
Tap the "Check In" button on any shop's detail page, or use the QR code scanner on the home screen if the shop has a Ground Rounds QR code displayed.
How do I earn badges?
Badges are earned automatically as you use the app! Check in at shops, write reviews, visit dog-friendly cafés, attend events, and explore different roasters. View your badges in your profile.
Can I suggest a coffee shop that's not listed?
Yes! Tap the "Suggest a Shop" button in the app to submit a new coffee shop or roaster. We'll review and add it to our database.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings → Privacy & Data → "Delete My Account & Data". You can also visit our
data deletion page for more information.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes! We take privacy seriously. Your data is encrypted in transit and stored securely on Firebase. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. Read our
Privacy Policy for details.
The app isn't working properly. What should I do?
Try these steps:
- Refresh the page (pull down on mobile)
- Clear your browser cache
- Make sure you're using the latest version
- Check your internet connection

How do I enable notifications?
Go to your Profile → Settings → Enable Notifications toggle. You may also need to allow notifications in your browser/device settings.
Can I use Ground Rounds offline?
Ground Rounds is a Progressive Web App (PWA) with limited offline functionality. You can view previously loaded content, but searching and checking in require an internet connection.
